Master data governance

Your data is the lifeblood of your company and its processes. It needs to be managed correctly to ensure it’s always the best quality to support your decision-making. That’s where Natuvion’s data governance team comes in. It comprises experienced data scientists who can work with you to define your data governance strategy. They can provide and implement the right software solutions – such as SAP Master Data Governance – and assist you with complex data transformations and consolidations across multiple systems.

Audits and monitoring

Worried about how effective your data protection measures are? Finding it hard to keep up with changes to the laws? We can help. We were one of the first to develop an integrated data protection audit program. It analyzes the compliance of your entire organization and IT infrastructure. We work with you to define the audit’s scope and depth, then conduct it using questionnaires, on-site interviews and technical system analyses. The result: you’ll receive a management report with recommendations for any improvements.

01. Project-/Program Management

Put your project in the best hands: Natuvion’s PM team

Dozens of happy customers can bear witness to the stand-out qualities of Natuvion’s project management (PM) team. Our consultants are highly experienced in both traditional and agile PM methods and most hold recognized certifications, including the PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2 and Scrum. Our approach is different to many other consulting firms in that we put a major focus on knowledge transfer to customers and on ensuring the lasting success of their projects.

Our PM team usually leverages a mix of traditional PM and agile methods. This lets us combine the best of both worlds in a way that’s right for each individual project.

We invest significantly in ongoing training and professional development with a wide range of pre-certification and other courses. In addition, our consultants have a wealth of knowledge sharing tools at their disposal. These include an extensive knowledge platform with templates derived from completed projects. They also use an internal chat platform for informally sharing experiences and attend “lessons learned” meetings following the completion of every project.

Here’s an overview of our PM portfolio.

Traditional PM: clearly-defined phases, milestones and budgets for optimal project completion. This is ideal for projects with significant legal, regulatory or transparency requirements.

Agile PM: using best practices, our experienced consultants support you throughout the Scrum process. This includes setting up a Jira Taskboard, Sprint planning, timeboxing and planning poker to estimate the time/effort needed.

Test management: coaching and tools to help you with user and project acceptance tests as well as integration test management. See below for more information.

Cutover management: this is the critical moment when you change over from an old to a new system. Our consultants define a cutover plan, task list, fallback plan, timeline and responsibilities to ensure success. Their work is complemented by our innovative Cutover Application for real-time monitoring of the changeover status.

02. Test Management & Testing

Natuvion’s expert team combines goal-oriented test management with coaching to guide customers through the entire testing process. We focus mainly on user, handover and integration tests but also regression, load and performance tests. Here’s an overview of our methodology.

Concept level

Analysis of existing internal test management tools and processes
Provision of best-practice templates for test documentation
Development of test management concept, including implementation and training
Assistance with definition and implementation of QA and software test processes

Operational level

Preparation of test phases and planning, implementation and management of test processes
Setup of error management plan with error priorities and bug-fixing schedule

03. Transformation & Migration Factory

Natuvion delivers standardized methods and procedures for your transformation. The result: fast transformations, high flexibility and increased quality!

Natuvion operates an internationally active competence center for transformations. Your advantage: The Natuvion team supports you in your transformation from anywhere and at any time. With our Transformation Factory, you have the choice between near-, off- or on-shore support. Ad hoc requests? No problem! Our offices in Europe, the USA and APJ enable 24/7 support. Of course, our Transformation Factory team will also assist you with the setup and deployment of new software technologies. In addition, the Transformation Factory supports you with fast and flexible load balancing or simply provides experts to support your data transformation projects. Some standard services such as carve-outs or chart-of-account harmonization can also be performed remotely upon request.

04. Application Management & Support

Well-functioning applications are essential for stable business processes. At Natuvion, we provide utilities companies large and small with top-flight application support and services.

They cover all utilities-related SAP components and include:

Our services are based on Natuvion DCS for carve-in/carve-out, migration, and regulatory projects in SAP environments. They also use Natuvion’s AOI (Additional Option Invoicing) and PPO (Product, Price & Option) database.

05. Data Privacy & Security Competence Center

Data privacy and protection has become one of the most urgent – and complex – issues in modern business. For many companies, it can be a challenge to know how to implement it correctly within their heterogeneous IT process and system infrastructures.

That’s why Natuvion founded its Competence Center Berlin (CCB) – a group of experts specialized in data privacy and protection. Many of our staff – at the CCB and elsewhere at Natuvion – are certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Operating internationally, our Berlin-based center covers all areas of European regulatory requirements for data protection and data security. These include the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the ePrivacy regulation, and their national interpretations.

The CCB provides advice, consultancy and implementation on legal as well as strategic and technical IT matters. The services are tailored to the needs of each customer. Customers appreciate its flexibility, as we can provide full-service assistance or help on a project or support basis.

We have broad and deep experience and expertise in this area due to our many customer projects, our close partnership with SAP, and co-innovation with it in the area of data privacy and protection. We have also worked extensively with the SAP Customer Data Cloud (formerly Gigya) as well as with the IAPP.
